Calibration Technician, Monday-Friday 1st Shift

Regeneron is currently seeking a Calibration Technician to join our Technical Operations team.This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.When & where:Shift Requirements: Monday - Friday 08.00am - 4.30pmLocation: Rensselaer, New YorkWhat you’ll do:Calibrating various types of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, level, flow and analytical instrumentsPerforming loop check, tune, troubleshoot, and start-up of instrumentationWorking with medium and low voltagesPerforming basic plumbing and tube bending jobsAssisting the Facilities Management-Maintenance (FM-M) process and Clean Utility technicians in troubleshooting facilities and process related issuesPerforming daily Work Orders (WO) and Preventative Maintenance (PM) and efficiently coordinate the workflow and documentation of PMs and WOsCommunicating and coordinating with each department and within Facilities Management when planned and unplanned work events occurFollowing current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)Occasionally working on other facility related work tasks/issues that are outside the calibration department’s normal work dutiesMay include planning and scheduling outside contractors/vendors to perform scheduled and/or non-scheduled PM or general workEnsuring safe and efficient hands-on maintenance of all plant manufacturing equipment and related support equipment with strict adherence to SOPs, cGMPs, and quality standardsParticipation in compliance investigations if and when necessaryThe environment and physical rhythms of this role:Demonstrate basic problem-solving skillsAbility to learn and follow routine procedures independently as well as part of a teamComfortable and have the flexibility to work in a changing environmentCan lift, push, and pull at least 50lbsSeek to build and maintain positive working relationships with the businessPossess strong written and verbal communication skillsMaintain effective time management skills to allow deadlines to be met in a timely mannerHave knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and overall comfort and general familiarity with computer systemsFull gowning required when entering and working on production floorLet’s find out if we’re a fit:Applicants ideally should have an AAS degree, preferably in an Engineering or Construction Technologies related area and the following minimum amounts of experience for each level:Calibration Technician II: 2+ years of related experience or HSD/GED with 5+ years of related experienceCalibration Technician III: 5+ years of related experience or HSD/GED with 8+ years of related experienceCalibration Technician IV: 8+ years of related experience or HSD/GED with 8+ years of related experienceLevel will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the rolePrior experience in the maintenance and operation of large-scale utilities plant preferred and ISA CCST Certification is strongly preferred but not required.#REGENTOSK   Does this sound like you?
