We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.ResponsibilitiesThe Associate Director - Pricing will be a crucial part of a team that determines Pricing and Access strategies for Lilly’s portfolio.You will be reporting to VP, Pricing and Market Access and be responsible for providing analysis and reports to optimize pricing and access opportunities for Lilly Canada. The work encompasses both the optimization of commercialized products and the preparation for future launches by developing early pricing and market access insights for pipeline assets. Additional responsibilities include the coordination of PRA team operations such as Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contracting and payer submissions.  This is a hybrid role – onsite presence at our Toronto office will be 10 days or more per month (or at least 50% of the time), determined in collaboration with your manager and based on business needs.This role is eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as participation in the Lilly Bonus Program and a car allowance.This posting is for an existing vacancy.Strategic Pricing and AccessCollaborate with Marketing, Market Access and Finance to provide critical quantitative inputs for pricing strategiesDevelop analyses to inform public and private payer reimbursement decisionsProvide guidance to Market Access team on business cases and negotiation strategiesLead the internal launch price approval processCoordinate contracting process for Group Purchasing OrganizationsLead New Product Planning activities to provide early pricing and market access insights for pipeline assets across therapeutic areasCanadian Pricing Regulation Management (PMPRB)Assist with interpreting PMPRB regulations, resolving investigations and compiling semi-annual PMPRB reportingUnderstand the business impact of proposed revisions to PMPRB regulations and new guidelines Minimum Requirements:Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent (MBA or MSc in Finance is preferred)Significant pharmaceutical industry experienceMin. 5 years of experience in market access and/or related functions  Able to think critically, innovatively and possess strong business acumenExcellent quantitative technical ability, highly capable in Microsoft Excel, and attention to detailStrong written and oral communication skillsProven problem solving skillsBias for action and proven ability to influence without authorityDemonstrated ability to coach and train towards excellenceAdditional Skills/Preferences:Health sciences backgroundAction-oriented and demonstrated by managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment with changing and/or competing prioritiesUnderstanding of PMPRB regulations, health technology assessment, health economic methodologies, and Canadian market access environmentBilingual (English / French)High level of comfort in leveraging AI to automate workLilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
