This position reports to APAC GF Leadership.This role is also responsible for supporting the quality operations related to the facility operations and maintenance, and compliance activities on the campus. Principal responsibilities include direct management of facilities inhouse and outsourced operation staff and functions, planned and predictive maintenance of central plant utilities support GMP manufacturing, and operational expense budget management. Job scopes include but are not limited to:Good knowledge and expertise in Facilities System such as ACMV, Mechanical and Electrical System are requiredLead a Facilities Operations and Maintenance team for scope execution for Singapore plant and offices. Support may extend to regional officesResponsible for day to day operational issues and prompt response to Out of Specification situation for critical manufacturing environmentManagement of contractors on outsourced services to ensure fulfillment of contracts terms and agreementsSupport management of service and maintenance contractsSustain an automated Preventative Maintenance program for all facilities related infrastructure.Develop and maintain critical spares strategy to support the operationDevelop and implement Procedure and Work Instruction for all critical facilities operations and activitiesSupport Compliance efforts for Operations-related initiativesSupport resource planning for Event ManagementPlan and organize resource to ensure operation and system is operating at its highest efficiency, and minimize unplanned downtimeLead Operation meeting to address critical issuesEnsure that all company procedures and policies are complied and carried out accordinglyActive participation in continuous improvement projectsLead Facilities function in ISO, OHSAS, FDA certification programsSupport EHS and Security work scopes and projectsMay need to travel to support regional projectsPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalentAt least 5 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in Biotech, Pharmaceutical or Semiconductor facilities environmentDemonstrate leadership ability, critical and broad base thinking, trouble shooting ability and a Self-starterAbility to work independently and with all levelsDemonstrated customer service and ability to communicate effectively and professionallyExperience with staff, budget and project management.Must be committed and good team player.Must be prepared to to work overtime when necessary, and ability to be on 24 hr standbyMust have proficiency with various software applications programs including MS Excel, Word and Power pointKnowledge of AutoCAD and CMMS will be advantageousWe are a company deeply rooted in belonging, promoting an inclusive environment where employees feel valued and empowered to contribute to our mission.
