Job DescriptionRemote: This position does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee’s role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis. This position requires an employee to cover territory visits to direct accounts in a reoccurring frequencyThe territory covers the Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota and North Dakota. The selected candidate must already live within 50 miles of Minneapolis or Saint Paul, MN, or be willing to relocate to within a 50-mile radius of the Twin Cities. Relocation may be provided.The Role We are looking for a seasoned aftermarket professional to lead ACDelco growth with our largest FMP Direct Account, providing high visibility to senior CCA leadership and extensive collaboration with the Central Office team and multiple regions. FMP sells nationwide through various retailers and online, and this role is critical in shaping how ACDelco shows up across that footprint.The ACDelco Market Area Manager owns territorial responsibility for driving sales, program participation, and market penetration, while ensuring ACDelco inventories, programs, and marketing are fully leveraged across the territory. This is a high-impact, field-facing leadership role for a proven sales and business development leader.The ACDelco Market Area Manager will aggressively solicit orders at the Direct Account level to maximize sales, incentives, and product program participation, while establishing and optimizing ACDelco inventories to support Market Area sales. They will assist in marketing ACDelco products, programs, and benefits at both Direct and National Accounts, and support all Direct Accounts in executing business plans aligned to the Market Area strategy to grow ACDelco’s secondary customer base and market penetration, directly contributing to CCA’s regional and national revenue targets. The role is deeply involved in marketing initiative development and execution, customer retention, product displays, financial analysis, and training, and requires a high level of independent judgment and sound decision-making within established practices and procedures.What You'll Do (Responsibilities):Demonstrate GM's Core Values and Cultural PrioritiesDevelop and direct assigned Outside and Inside Sales Representatives.Collaborate constructively with Wholesale Market Area ManagerAttain assigned sales objectivesDevelop and strengthen all makes/all models sales volume for assigned areaAggressively solicit orders at the Direct Account level by establishing inventories, soliciting line additions and changeovers via LEEP and stocklift budgetsAssist in the marketing of ACDelco products and programs at both Direct and National AccountsDevelop and grow Independent Aftermarket sales opportunities, including FleetProspect for new distribution opportunities at all levels to increase ACDelco market penetrationDevelop and improve DA Outside and Inside Sales Representative (OSR & ISR) engagementCoordinate with Direct Account and utilize marketing budget to create and implement market specific (Local) promotions to increase salesSell national, regional and local programsCommunicate and ensure DA compliance with ACDelco policies and proceduresComplete weekly updates, administrative duties, special assignments, and other leadership requests regarding competitive products, market conditions and distribution activities in a timely and professional mannerProvide market input to assist with forecast and business planningCoordinate input from internal/external customers to better understand customer needs/perceptionsMaintain up-to-date customer profiles and other records in accordance with company instructionsAttend conventions, special events and trade shows as requiredSupport all customer training activitiesKeep abreast of current product developments and trendsMaintain an effective relationship with ACDelco PDCsMonitor ACDelco both warranty reduction initiatives and material returns/core credit activities, and support control measures acting as a liaison between the customer and ACDelcoYour Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):Bachelor Degree or relevant experience3+ years automotive aftermarket experience preferredOutside Sales experienceAbility to prioritize and deploy resources to maximize opportunitiesStrong customer relationship and selling skillsHigh level of interpersonal and strong communications skillsBusiness insight and ability to identify new business opportunitiesAbility to communicate product line features and benefitsProblem-solving skills and analytical abilitiesAbility to develop and execute action plansEntrepreneurial attitudeKnowledge of GM parts systemsKnowledge of computer software, MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc.Travel as necessary - minimum of 50%Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington. The expected base compensation for this role is ($105,600.00 - $140,700.00) USD Annually.
