Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Job Description: The Finance Specialist Dealer Support is responsible for dealer financial analysis, leading projects to support financial health, managing dealer credit and receivables, protecting company assets, and making improvement recommendations which contribute to financially sound and successful dealer operations.What you will do:Supporting dealer profitability and financial health in the LATAM District.Analyzing confidential financial reports and evaluating the financial strength of Caterpillar dealers in assigned region(s).  Reporting financial trends and problem areas affecting dealer performance to management.Assisting dealers in short- and long-term financial planning, credit and collections, accounting, cash management etc.Managing and collecting company receivables from loans and investments to dealers from Caterpillar. Administering Caterpillar payment policy to dealers and minimizing past dues.Monitoring compliance to Dealer Finance Procedures, Sarbanes Oxley Act and Treasury letters.Trains, coaches, and mentors new Finance Reps and district/region staff.Represents the Finance Director when needed.Identifies and recommends process improvements within district/region offices.What you have:Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Level Expert:Gains agreement on the problem-solving process, risk assessment, decision points, and criteria.Trains others in the process of eliciting alternatives and assessing their impact.Orchestrates the resolution of high-impact and cross-functional problems.Successfully organizes problem solvers and stakeholders for high-impact problems.Predicts and explains long-term trends and implications for alternatives.Monitors industry for best practices and new techniques in problem-solving.Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.Level Working Knowledge:Provides prompt and effective responses to client requests and interactions.Monitors client satisfaction levels on a regular basis.Alerts own team to problems in client satisfaction.Differentiates the roles and responsibilities in a business relationship.Works with clients to address critical issues and resolve major problems.Financial Markets: Knowledge of the products, types, competitors, customer base, major issues and regulatory considerations in the financial markets; ability to apply financial market knowledge to various business environments.Level Working Knowledge:Generalizes key characteristics of each financial market type; makes comparisons.States the standard operating procedures and processes of a specific financial product, such as an Initial Public Offering.Communicates related laws and regulations regarding a specific financial market, such as foreign exchange.Analyzes and summarizes current competitive landscape regarding financial markets.Generates risk reports on an assigned financial market by reviewing the operation data.Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.Level Extensive Experience:Conducts and documents analyses of a variety of financial statements and indicators.Anticipates the potential impact of decisions based on financial data analysis.Oversees financial analysis to evaluate organizational and managerial performance.Evaluates financial statements and ensures regulatory compliance.Advises others on a variety of financial tools, techniques and approaches.Directs others work with financial and cash flow ratios and trend analyses.Basic Requirements:Finance, Economics, or Accounting Degree or equivalent experience desiredEnglish AdvancedExperience with Credit/Financial StatementTop Candidates will also have:Experience working in a similar responsibility.  Experience with Dealers and CustomersCommercial experience and negotiation abilities.Additional Information:5 days in the week in the officeTravel required: 30% Posting Dates:junio 12, 2026 - junio 14, 2026Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  Qualified applicants of any age are encouraged to applyNot ready to apply?
