What you will be responsible forManage the corresponding Portfolio Services team in location for responsible clientResponsible for service delivery and client sentimentDriving and managing on new client onboardingDeveloping strong risk management and controlled environmentBroad and in-depth understanding of standards, methodologies, processes, systems and technology necessary to support investment management operations.Conduct high-level analysis in specific areas of expertise, identify and resolve work-processing issues, make suggestions to streamline operations and implement.Liaise with colleagues in region or divisions globally where required for client issue resolutionAct as the point at which relevant client queries relating to the Investment Book of Records and front office Start of day Readiness, with proactive management to ensure timely response and resolutionEnsure that the teams perform daily checks on file deliverables to the clients, investigate discrepancies and ensure daily resolution of identified queriesPerform an overview function for the Shared Services functions identifying operational trends, issues and areas for improvement.Perform work independently within scope of established guidelines and according to specific procedures.Support and proactive manage on Client Change Request items impacting the Enterprise processes and Operating ModelsCommunicate effectively on issues / problems to the Client and to SSC management and ensure a proper and timely follow-up to ensure resolution.Provide guidance, support, act as resource and assist team membersComplete any ad-hoc tasks as identified by the line managerExcellent analytical skills and ability to analyze on the spot.What we value These skills will help you succeed in this roleExtensive asset management experience, including investment operations, fund accounting and portfolio valuationBroad and in-depth understanding of the asset management industry, gained through working in a variety of asset management disciplines.Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skillsPortfolio Valuations reconciliations / Investigations experienceStrong communication and presentation skills to audiences of different sizes and levels of seniorityMust be self-motivated, adaptable and show initiative in different circumstances and under pressureGood team working skills.Flexibility in working outside of your responsibilities and areas of expertise.Experience in writing SQL or understanding of data met modeling as plusEducation & Preferred QualificationsDegree in finance, business, technology or equivalent or relevant industry experience 8-10 years of experienceProven experience in client communication and interaction at all levelsIn depth understanding of Middle Office operations, preferably Trade Management Operations inclusive of trade confirmation, settlement & reconciliation.
