Grafton’s Winchester region is seeking an experienced Program Operations Manager in their Children & Adolescent Residential Program. This position will include full-time hours from 12:00pm – 8:00pm or 1:00pm – 9:00pm with a rotating weekend schedule.

Job Summary
Under general supervision, manages direct support professionals (DSPs) to enable them to provide well-rounded, quality services to individuals utilizing evidence-based best practices. Ensures that DSPs provide for the health, safety, welfare and progress of individuals. Guide DSPs in using effective interactions designed to improve well-being, promote progress toward goals, increase independence, and improve overall quality of life. Observe, document and provide meaningful feedback to DSPs to maintain or improve performance to achieve desired results established by the multi-disciplinary and management teams. Collaborate with the Program Clinical Manager and Program Case Manager to provide the necessary development of DSPs and to support the goals of the program and organization. Ensure that staffing is adequate; manage PTO, and staffing schedule for assigned program. Manage budget for the assigned program. Report to Residential Administrator or Executive Director
Essential Job Functions
Establishes and maintains positive employee relationsInterviews and collaborates with Human Resources to hire new employeesProvides and ensures initial employee trainingOversees the new employee training within the program provided by the Lead DSPMonitors employee performance and utilizes recognition and feedback models to improve / maintain performanceProvides corrective feedback for employee performance problems that do not improve through coachingProvides and ensures on-going employee training and developmentConducts employee performance reviews, employee performance assessmentsOversees completion and audits of weekly/monthly paperwork in the homeOversees employees’ in completing weekly/monthly shopping for items needed in the home and food.Oversees development and implementation of activity schedulesProvides for employee safety through risk managementManages employee transfers and resignationsManages staffing for assigned programMonitors that clients receive medication and medical treatment, as prescribedManages the safety and rights of clientsMonitors that clients’ health and hygiene needs are metManages the residence / school site and company vehicle useFacilitates maintenance for the assigned programFacilitates program planningEnsures employees understand their responsibilities to implement clients’ individual plansMonitors employees’ implementation of individual plansOversees employees’ support to substitute staffSets expectations and monitors how employees facilitate client participation in the communityManages on-call / on-duty responsibilitiesParticipates in a weekly on-call rotationDemonstrates knowledge of Grafton/program (mission, vision structure)Supports the organization’s Continuous Quality Improvement and Trauma Informed Care approach.
