Job Requirements and Skills Proven experience as an operations manager - preference given to candidates who have previous experience in operations for legal oraccounting firms.Able to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving.Demonstrable project management – able to site instances where that skill positively changed or improved outcomes.Ability to work with results driven leadership – managing up by helping leadership meet internal and external deadlines by holding themaccountable as well support staff.Proven experience in tracking and managing deadlines.Experience in employee management including participation in performance evaluations with HR.Knowledge of office management systems and proceduresWorking knowledge of facilities management, office equipment maintenance (printers, postage machines, etc.), inventory management,ordering supplies.Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Word, Adobe, in particular).Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work for self and others with willingness to work overtime as necessary.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent written business and verbal communication skills with particular attention to formatting business and legal documents, understanding that every document that leaves the office is a legal document.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-taskAbility to work with clients and staff exhibiting a strong customer service and “do whatever it takes” attitude.
