If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now!What you’ll do Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: Support the development and rollout activities of the Scout Motors Business Management System (BMS), based on ISO9001 standard Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, Procurement and Product Management) to ensure that their processes and standards meet customer expectations and market requirements Drive the documentation and tracking of departmental processes and standards to ensure progress, transparency, and alignment with the company’s end-to-end process architecture, goals and objectives Ensure seamless integration of Quality processes into the overall company end-to-end process architecture Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and standards Collaborate closely with BMS team members and business partners across multiple Scout Motors locations (e.g. Novi – MI, Charlotte - NC) to ensure cross-alignment and consistent implementation of BMS initiatives Location & Travel Expectations: This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time. What you’ll bring We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset. You’ll be comfortable with change and flexible in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You’ll take a collaborative approach to achieve ambitious goals. Here's what else you'll bring: 5+ years of experience in automotive engineering, production, organizational development, and/or quality management of which at least 3 years of QMS (Quality Management Systems)-related responsibilities; OEM experience preferred Bachelor’s Degree in related field desired (for instance: Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, …) ISO9001:2015 auditing certification required Proven experience in the implementation of QMS and / or execution of internal audits according to ISO9001:2015 in the automotive industry Extensive knowledge of organization development, process management, and process design methodologies Strong understanding of Quality processes and methods and their practical application Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver results Strong communication skills (interpersonal, presentation and writing) across hierarchy and functional levels (i.e. Director and Vice President Level) Ability to independently identify tasks, develop methodologies and plans, and execute with minimal supervision while ensuring successful outcomes Proven ability to manage multiple assignments with competing priorities What you'll gain The benefits of joining Scout include the chance to build products and a company from the ground up.
