You ensure that key business results are achieved and for developing others to ensure the sustained continuity of technical mastery on the manufacturing line. Using a systematic approach, you use strategic thinking skills to ensure results are sustained over the long term.How you will contributeIn your likely first managerial role, you will ensure that Mondelēz International’s safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets are achieved for the lines for which you are responsible by breaking down section targets into line and unit targets and ensuring that employees understand their individual performance goals related to the overall targets. In this role, you will also develop budgets and be responsible for costs control management, governance and compliance, loss elimination and workforce planning, including recruitment, retention, development, succession planning, and the identification of high potential team members. You will bring experience and knowledge in:Autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and progressive maintenance (PM) Step 3 systemsMaintaining equipment at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (break-down maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipmentTotal productive maintenance and Six Sigma including qualification of AM steps 5-6, and PM step 3Leading line teamsHandling challenging interpersonal situations tactfullyInfluencing people in a union environmentCommunicating effectively verbally and in writing and a good attention to detailMore about this roleThe Line Leader has overall responsibility for the short and long-term performance of the assigned production line/cell across all shifts. This role drives operational excellence, team development, and continuous improvement while ensuring the highest standards of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Sustainability and Morale (SQDCSM).Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Operational AccountabilityAssume 360-degree accountability for all KPIs within the assigned production line/cellOwn the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Management Systems and Standard Work PracticesLead preparation and facilitation of governance meetings and line briefsDevelop and drive the longer-term cell/line improvement planAttend Planning Meetings with Hub and Site Planning Teams to ensure optimal plansManage fixed and variable costs to budget (Kaizen, DVL, )Safety & ComplianceDeploy and manage Health & Safety processes in alignment with the H&S departmentOwn risk assessment plans and drive closure of gapsWork with the Safety team to reduce Accidents, Incidents, and Risk RatingsEnsure strict adherence to all company policies and regulatory complianceUphold the highest standards of **People Safety** and **Food Safety**Implement effective preventative measures following safety and quality incidentsEnsure timely Safety Incident InvestigationsQuality ManagementDeploy and manage Quality processes in alignment with the Quality departmentDrive down Consumer Complaints in collaboration with the Quality teamPrepare Quality measures for daily workflow meetingsEnsure timely Quality Incident InvestigationsContinuous Improvement & Loss EliminationAct as a proactive "Agent of Change" by championing Continuous Improvement initiativesDrive initiatives and Actively contribute within the Run to Standard(R2S) / Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) frameworkOwn the loss elimination cycle for the line and execute the loss elimination planLead and support problem-solving sessionsOwn the **CIL (Clean, Inspect & Lubricate)** process: deployment, execution, KPI reporting, and continuous improvementPeople Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and mentor direct reports, fostering a high-performance cultureConduct performance reviews, objective setting, and Individual Development PlansBuild employee engagement and maintain positive Trade Union relationshipsDrive individual growth through regular reviews and learning opportunitiesConduct line briefs providing two-way feedback to shift teams (operators & technicians)Handle escalations and prioritize work for Cell and Shift TeamsManage interfaces with other departments (Quality, H&S, Planning, Logistics, HR, etc.)Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical) or related scientific discipline (e.g., Food Technology)Minimum **4-5 years** of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated direct responsibility for production processes, product quality, and people managementFluency in French and EnglishEssential Skills & CompetenciesPeople Leadership: Proven ability in coaching, mentoring, and effective team developmentCommunication: Effective written, verbal, and presentational skillsAnalytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving capabilities to address operational challengesSafety Culture: Deep commitment to People Safety and Food Safety standardsContinuous Improvement: Proactive mindset; ability to champion and drive operational changesOrganizational Skills: Strong prioritization to manage complex operational demandsCollaboration: Ability to work across teams, functions, and share best practicesLeadership Presence: Role models leadership on the floor; comfortable challenging the status quoComputer Literacy : Proficient with digital tools and reporting systemsDesirable CriteriaStrong technical knowledge across the site's processes and production linesExpe
