Production Operator

Job Description Summary: This temporary position reports to the Production Manager, Area S, Flavour Manufacturing WexfordJob Objective:This position will perform a wide variety of tasks in the overall operation of the plant using Company Quality system guidelines to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.  These tasks will be in materials handling, processing, blending, filling and labelling areas. These will require a level of computer literacy, mechanical aptitude, and physical effort. This position will be required to work on a two-cycle shift pattern.Key ResponsibilitiesMain Tasks: (due to the importance of associate flexibility, associates may be required to carry out other duties in addition to these functions)Perform production activities in materials handling, processing, blending, filling and labelling areasMaintain batch records using the FM Quality System guidelines to ensure product quality and customer satisfactionPrepare all equipment used in the manufacturing process prior to use in order to ensure smooth, sanitary and safe operationOperate various machines as needed to ensure proper packaging of ingredientsMaintain the plant’s manufacturing equipment in sanitary condition according to Company GMP policies and procedures to assure the quality of the manufactured productPerform final quality check/inspection for accuracy and visible damage prior to shipment to customerSafeguard Company trademarks that standardize and protect all information surrounding confidential ingredients and flavours manufactured by The Coca-Cola Company to prevent breach of trademark security within the CompanyProtect all intellectual property, information and technology surrounding confidential processes and products using established legal safeguards to prevent a breach of trademark security within the CompanySkills and Experience required:Leaving Certificate or equivalent3+ years’ experience in Food/Beverage/Pharma environmentGood mechanical aptitudeAptitude for operating machinery and equipmentAptitude for computers and demonstrated computer literacySAP experience is an advantageFamiliarisation with SCADA systems and functionality is preferableDemonstrated experience in team-based environmentOrganised, methodical, tidy and the ability to work in a controlled and structured wayQuality focused and excellent attention to detailExcellent problem solving and solid judgement skillsDemonstrated communication and interpersonal skillsFork truck experience is desirableSkills:Communication, Computer Literacy, English Language, English Writing, Forklift License, Lifting Operations, Machine Operations, Mathematics, Mechanical Aptitude, TroubleshootingLocation(s):IrelandCity/Cities:WexfordTravel Required:00% - 25%Relocation Provided:NoJob Posting End Date:June 12, 2026Our Purpose and Growth Culture:We are taking deliberate action to nurture an inclusive culture that is grounded in our company purpose, to refresh the world and make a difference.
