In this role you will be contributing to and supporting the corporate Enterprise Container Strategy by identifying ideas to improve system performance, efficiency, and introducing new capabilities. This includes improving/developing automation for cluster installation, system upgrades, patch management/compliance, and monitoring the health of the overall environment. Other important aspects of this role will be cluster capacity management and providing level two operational support. CAAS support engineer should be able to drive the troubleshooting calls and provide status updates to the management as needed. Require good understanding of the offline cluster deployments, image mirroring, networking concepts, storage options, encryption and security of the platform.You will also be expected to work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing and author/edit system documentation/playbook(s).**Candidates will need to able to work during one of the following shifts***Early morning shift, (6:00 am - 3:00 pm ET, with 1 hour break) OREvening shift, (2:00 pm - 11:00 pm ET, with 1 hour break)In addition to the above shifts, candidates will be part of on-call rotation, which may require to work after 11PM as needed to perform platform upgrade activities, which requires to work from 7PM EST to 6AM EST. Manages infrastructure engineering projects and processes aligned with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.4. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to integrate new technologies and continuously improve infrastructure standards and processes.5. Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues impacting infrastructure performance and reliability.6. Supports compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.7. Reviews and guides infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing.8. Provides technical guidance and direction to lower-level technical professionals.9. Develops technical solutions with deep analysis of infrastructure systems and leads infrastructure processes.QualificationsRequired QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.2. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering.3. Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware. Preferred Qualifications:1. Experience working in Agile teams and knowledge of Agile development & release practices2. Banking or financial services experience3. Knowledge about Kubernetes design standards, patterns, and best practices4. Knowledge about Micro-services design standards, patterns, and best practices5. Proven track record of acting as SME for Container projects and managing the day-to-day operations of a container platform6. Effective written and verbal communication skills and good listening skills7. Excellent problem-solving skills - Ability to analyze problem in multiple perspectives8. Must have a -can-do- attitude, a passion for technology, and willingness to learn new skills.9. Must be confident, self-starter, have a strong work ethic, and team oriented. 10.
