Join our team as an IT Program Coordinator I, where you’ll play a key role in planning, developing, and supporting innovative technology‑driven programs that make a lasting impact. In this role, you’ll collaborate with IT leaders, engineers, vendors, and program participants to ensure seamless coordination, clear communication, and successful program delivery—both on campus and beyond.How You Will Contribute:Program Planning & DevelopmentPartner with IT leadership to plan, implement, and evaluate technology programsHelp define goals, projects, policies, and procedures—while troubleshooting and researching solutionsCollaborate with directors to create and expand new initiativesAssess client needs by mapping current and future business processes through technologySupport engineering‑related projectsFollow up with clients and stakeholders, including occasional travelDocumentation & Record ManagementMaintain program documentation and membership recordsPrepare reports, meeting agendas, and detailed meeting minutesDocument business processes, functional requirements, and technical specificationsTrack circuit installations, changes, and disconnectsStakeholder EngagementCoordinate and facilitate meetings, including off‑site sessionsSupport training efforts with materials, maps, and end‑user documentationCreate and distribute newsletters for program membersSchedule communications and invitations with timely, relevant informationProcurement & Vendor CoordinationManage vendor quotes and contract renewalsCreate web documentation and process product‑receiving recordsTraining & Professional DevelopmentParticipate in ongoing training and professional growth opportunitiesAnd of course—support additional initiatives as needed.What you need to knowSalary: $4,583.34 monthlyRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree—or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAt least two years of related professional experiencePreferred QualificationsTwo years of networking experienceTwo years of project management experienceTwo years of customer or vendor relationship management experienceSkills That Set You ApartStrong interpersonal and collaborative skillsAbility to juggle multiple priorities with confidence and clarityAnalytical thinking with excellent organizational skillsProficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and databasesFamiliarity with document repositories (e.g., Laserfiche or similar)Knowledge of ITIL or IT service management practicesWork Environment & ExpectationsRegular computer and phone useAbility to travel independently (approximately 10–15%)Occasional work outside standard business hours—including evenings or weekends—to support technology servicesThis is a security‑sensitive position requiring compliance with applicable state, federal, and university policiesExport‑control authorization is required prior to employmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to travel independently to other and/or remote locations by driving and/or flying on commercial airlines.Other Requirements and FactorsThis position may require up to 10-15% or more travelThis position is security sensitive and is restricted to U.S. citizens onlyThis position requires compliance with state and federal laws/codes and Texas A&M University System/TAMU policies, regulations, rules and proceduresAll tasks and job responsibilities must be performed safely without injury to self or others in compliance with System and University safety requirementsThis role may require working outside of standard office hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support the demands of technology services and ensure the seamless operation of essential systemsExport ControlThis position will require export-control authorization prior to starting employment.Ready to make an impact through thoughtful coordination and technology leadership?Apply today and help shape programs that move our community forward.All positions are security-sensitive.
