Production and Inventory CoordinatorCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production and Inventory Coordinator to join the IRCSC MMO Shipping and Receiving Team located in Ladson, South Carolina on Variable shift 4.Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions. Monitors work in process. Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure parts availability. Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Works under general supervision.Position Responsibilities:Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etcMonitors and analyzes work in processUpdates status of parts and materials using automated systemsIdentifies and reports problems and recommendations to ensure parts availabilityAnalyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracyCoordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delaysWorks under limited supervisionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):1+ years of experience in the materials planning or inventory control process role in a manufacturing environment1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or ManufacturingAbility to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shiftAbility to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)1+ years of Warehouse experience packaging and crating1+ years of experience in Inventory ManagementPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):1+ years of experience working in CMES systems/BESSY/Crib Masters/KITS.1+ years of experience with the ERPLN application1+ years of experience using lean manufacturing principles1+ years of experience operating a Forklift1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving1+ years of experience working in cold roomConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift:  This position is for a variable shift (shift 4).
