We don’t believe in the ‘one size fits all’ approach and instead we will equip you with the tools you need to shape your own future.JOB PURPOSEUnilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world.  If you are an Engineering Store Clerk plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, ensuring critical spares availability, and supporting maintenance planning and reliability > then this role is just for you!WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BEReceiving MaterialsReceive engineering spare parts, tools, and materialsCheck deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, and specificationsInspect items for quantity, quality, and damageReport shortages, damages, or incorrect itemsvStoring and Inventory ManagementProperly store materials according to type, usage, and safety standardsLabel and organize shelves, bins, and racksMaintain bin cards, stock cards, or system recordsIssuing MaterialsIssue spare parts, tools, and consumables based on authorized requisitionsEnsure correct quantities and specifications are issuedRecord all issues accurately to maintain stock accuracyStock Control & MonitoringMonitor stock levels and identify minimum/maximum stock limitsPrevent stock‑outs or over‑stockingInform supervisors or planners about reorder needsAssist with monthly or annual stock counts (physical inventory)Record Keeping & DocumentationMaintain accurate records for:Goods receivedGoods issuedStock balancesUpdate computerized inventory systems or manual ledgersFile delivery notes, invoices, and requisition forms properlyTool ControlManage issuance and return of toolsTrack tool usage to reduce loss, damage, or misuseEnsure tools are cleaned and stored correctly after useHousekeeping & SafetyKeep the store clean, organized, and safeFollow 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and environmental regulationsStore hazardous materials according to safety guidelinesSupport to Engineering & Maintenance TeamsProvide timely materials to maintenance, production, and engineering teamsAssist during breakdowns and urgent maintenance activitiesCoordinate with planners, buyers, and engineersLoss Prevention & ControlPrevent theft, loss, or unauthorized access to materialsEnsure store is locked and access is controlledReport discrepancies immediatelyReportingPrepare stock status reportsHighlight slow‑moving, obsolete, or critical sparesSupport audits and management inspectionsWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDExperiences & QualificationsDiploma or Level IV/V in Engineering, Store Management, or a related technical field.Atleast 2 years Experience in Engineering/Mainatenance /Industrial Warehouse or Store.SkillsBasic engineering materials knowledgeInventory management skillsRecord‑keeping and attention to detailBasic computer skills (ERP / SAP / Excel is an advantage)Communication and teamworkUnderstanding of safety proceduresUNILEVER 4 BEHAVIORSCARE DEEPLY: We care deeply about how consumers experience our brands every day, everywhere; about our people’s growth and development and our impact on the planet.
