Senior Network EngineerWe are seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer who will be responsible for the architecturaldesign, implementation, and highest level of support for our global enterprise network. This is afantastic opportunity to bring your deep experience and creativity to a leadership role within ourteam. The successful candidate will be a dedicated team player, able to drive the business forwardwhile mentoring others in a remote, 24x7 operational environment.Your ImpactProvide end-to-end ownership and serve as the subject matter expert for our global networkinfrastructure.Lead the architectural design, setup, and configuration of network systems for new office sites fromthe ground up.Provide comprehensive support for our global network infrastructure, including monitoring, alertmanagement, and maintenance (patching, upgrades, and tuning).Drive strategy for network maintenance, including major upgrades, patching, and performancetuning to ensure maximum stability and performance optimization.Provide expert-level support for our core network technologies from both proactive and reactivepositions. For: Cisco Meraki Switches, Wireless Access Points, Meraki and Palo Alto firewalls, Ciscorouters, Global Protect VPN, and Portnox.Monitoring services and alerts for: network gear, and SaaS services, and perform initial triage fornetwork/SaaS platform issues.Act as the final escalation point for critical network issues, providing guidance and mentorship tojunior team members.Managing ticket queues, tickets and escalationsAct as an escalation point for complex troubleshooting, collaborating with the team and officestakeholders to ensure timely remediation.Develop and maintain documentation for implementation guidelines, runbooks, reusable designtemplates, and support templates.Work with a drive for success to ensure the stability and reliability of our network.Flexibility to work rotating shifts and when required to respond to escalations outside of yourscheduled shiftsAbility to act as a team lead, managing items such as but not limited to maintaining the teams shiftrotation schedule, on call rotations, and internal team escalations Your Experience8+ years of extensive experience managing and designing corporate IT network systems in a modern,global environment.Deep expertise in network infrastructure and monitoring principles.A dedicated and hardworking individual with a strong drive for success and proven experience incontinuous improvement to drive the business forward.Significant experience leading the deployment of network infrastructure for new sitesMaintaining ticket queues, tickets and escalationsWorking with IT operations management (ITOM) software that monitors and alerts on anorganization's IT infrastructure, from network devices to servers and applicationsDeep expertise and strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Global Protect VPN,and Portnox.An excellent team player with superior communication skills, able to collaborate effectively withteams and stakeholders in a globally disbursed environment.A track record of providing guidance and mentorship to develop junior team members.Flexibility to provide leadership and coverage in a 24x7 shift operation.
