Then we would love to have you join us!The RoleSenior Manager, Strategic Finance & Corporate Valuation (SFCV) will report to the Associate Director, Strategic Finance & Corporate ValuationSupport projects, initiatives, and analyses to inform strategic capital allocation and resourcing decisionsSupport financial modeling and valuation analyses for internal portfolio and growth initiativesSupport financial modeling, valuation analyses, and investment case development for BD/M&AAnalyze industry trends/themes and peer company developments and synthesize implications to Genmab’s business and equity valueCollaborate closely with other Finance team functions, Strategy & Corporate Development, Business Development & Licensing, R&D, Commercialization, Human Resources, and othersResponsibilitiesSupport SFCV’s goals & objectives aligned with the company’s overarching strategy and 2030 VisionSupport financial modeling and perform valuation analyses for organic and inorganic growth opportunitiesTrack performance against plan for transformation initiatives to provide transparency and accountability together with FP&AReport on industry trends and peer company developments, translate their impact on Genmab, and improve overall strategic decision-making qualitySupport portfolio strategy and investment decisions through formal business case development and partnership with R&D, Commercialization, and Corporate & Business DevelopmentPartner with Corporate & Business Development to support execution and implementation of strategic transactionsSupport long range planning, corporate strategy development, implementation, and executionWork arrangement: This role offers flexibility to work away from the office for 20%–40% of a typical schedule. Employees may use this work schedule in increments of single days or multiple consecutive days, provided it does not exceed 40% within a 60-day period, and is approved by the hiring managerQualifications and Requirements QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field ; MBA, M.D., or advanced life sciences degree preferred4–8+ years of progressive experience in investment banking, private equity, or strategic pharma corporate developmentPrior healthcare investment banking and/or buyside (PE/HF) experience highly preferredPrior healthcare equity research experience with strong financial modeling skills also consideredRequirementsPassionate about the life sciences, and Genmab’s purpose and missionDemonstrated knowledge of financial modeling, valuation, corporate finance, and the capital marketsStrong interest in global biotech/pharma industryStructured problem-solving skillsClear and articulate communicatorHighly organized, attentive to detail, and results-drivenAdditional Job DescriptionDrive the annual budget process and the quarterly forecast process to help deliver on business objectives Partner  with the business in managing expenses by providing providing deep insights through reports and analysis and help in managing budget and improving forecasting accuracyCreate, enhance and maintain financial models related to forecasting and planningProactively identify opportunities and make recommendation for improvements/efficiencies/ automationPartner with others in Finance & Accounting to ensure effective utilization of systems, application of excel models/tools, reporting and information sharing, and overall compliance with internal controlsWork closely with business leaders and the finance team on ad hoc projects to provide in-depth business case analysis and reporting to drive data based decisionsFor US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:$138,720.00---$208,080.00The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
