ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee warehouse associates and daily operations. Ensure associates understand their duties or delegated tasks. Initiate and maintain communications with TS Dept., with prompt notifications of any slow-downs or failures (system or mechanical).Maintain strong communications with “customer” and “supplier” departments to ensure mutual “customer service” needs are met. (i.e., get out of your silos!)Enforce company rules and regulations.Utilize appropriate reports to identify productivity opportunities.Monitor associate productivity and provide constructive feedback & coaching.Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and focus in their areas of responsibility.Ability to perform all warehouse functions in assigned areaSupport and comply with the company’s objectives, programs and vision. Be able to effectively articulate them to the associates. Maintain associates’ timekeeping records (i.e. Workforce).Assist with training of employeesAssist Supervisor/Manager with daily and monthly paperwork as neededMaintain open communication and coordinate workload requirements with all appropriate personnelKnowledge of company policies and warehouse proceduresP.C. Skills (ability to learn and utilize Red Prairie, SAP and other software programs as needed)Monitor assigned area to identify any problems and provide assistance when neededCoordinate work with other areas to ensure workload requirements are metEnsure errors are corrected within a timely manner so as not to impede work flowWork in all areas as needed (first and second floors)Ability to interact within a team environmentAbility to work a flex schedule to ensure the needs of the facility are metAbility to operate facility equipment needed to perform job functions within your assigned areaWAREHOUSE COORDINATOR MARGINAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform other work area functions as needed to accommodate changing work load prioritiesCOMPREHENSIVE REQUIREMENTS:Thorough knowledge of company policies and proceduresAbility to work within a team environment and provide superior customer serviceAct as a positive role model to employeesMaintain confidentialityAbility to work 50% of the working day unsupervisedStrong interpersonal skillsDemonstrated exemplary attendance and work habitsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in areas of varying temperaturesAbility to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate workloadFollow established ergonomic body mechanicsAbility to work at different levels of heightsAbility to lift objects weighing approximately 60lbs.Mobility necessary to continually traverse stairs to different levels as neededEDUCATION:High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent work experienceAssociates degree in Logistics or five years related on the job experience (Preferred)TECHNICAL:Operation of (RF) hand held scannerOperation of Hand Held Printer and P.C.P.C. SkillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Acceptable vision to perform job functionsMust be able to lift and move 60 lbsMobility necessary to work all levels of buildingAbility to stand 90% of day if required by job functionMaintain control of moving equipment at all timesCOMPETENCIES:Maintain established efficiency and accuracy requirementsFollow all safety rules and requirementsFollow LS&CO.
