Progress starts with you.Job DescriptionThe Senior Manager, Account Executive will play a critical role in managing and expanding Visa’s strategic partnership with Amazon—one of Visa’s most complex and high-impact global clients.This individual will own key workstreams across Amazon’s ecosystem (e.g., Retail, AWS, Ads, Amazon Business), driving commercial growth while shaping next-generation payments initiatives (e.g., agentic commerce, tokenization, money movement, and crypto/stablecoins).The role requires a rare combination of strategic thinking, deal execution, and cross-functional leadership to deliver outcomes across a highly matrixed organization. Strategic Account Leadership:Own and grow key components of Visa’s partnership with Amazon across multiple business unitsDevelop and execute account strategies aligned to revenue, volume, and product adoption goalsIdentify and prioritize new growth vectors (e.g., agentic commerce, stablecoins, new cobrand issuance constructs, money movement)Independently own and drive key workstreams from strategy through execution, including defining approach, aligning stakeholders, and delivering outcomes2. Commercial Structuring & Deal Execution:Lead complex commercial negotiations across pricing, economics, incentives, and long-term agreementsStructure complex, non-standard partnerships across new products and business models with broader strategic implicationsCo-develop and shape solutions or new product capabilities in partnership with AmazonBalance client objectives with Visa’s economics and long-term strategic positioning3. Cross-Functional Orchestration:Serve as the central point of coordination across Visa teams (product, legal, finance, etc.)Drive alignment across internal stakeholders and Amazon counterparts to deliver cohesive outcomesNavigate ambiguity and influence without formal authority in a highly-matrixed environment4. Execution & Portfolio Optimization:Track performance across key metrics (volume, revenue, adoption, product penetration)Identify and execute optimization levers (pricing, routing, tokenization, new use cases)Dive deep into partner needs, product capabilities, and data to inform decision-making and executionIdentify and remove friction to enable seamless customer payment experiences across Amazon’s ecosystem5. Executive Engagement:Build trusted relationships with senior Amazon leaders and partner with them on strategic initiativesPrepare executive-level materials, QBRs, and strategic recommendationsManage escalations and ensure alignment on high-priority initiatives.Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.Preferred Qualifications:9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.10+ years of relevant work experience in partnerships/sales, strategy, business development, or product management10+ years of professional experience, ideally working with large, global platform partners (e.g., BigTech, marketplaces, fintech)8+ years of professional or military experienceBachelor’s degree or equivalentExperience influencing internal and external stakeholdersExperience working cross-functionally across product, legal, finance, and operationsDeep experience in payments, commerce platforms, or fintech ecosystems, including experience shaping or launching new products or solutionsProven ability to structure complex commercial agreements and co-develop solutions or new product capabilities in partnership with clientsStrong commercial acumen (pricing, incentives, P&L impact)Ability to operate effectively in highly matrixed organizations and influence without authorityExcellent communication skills with strong executive presenceAnalytical mindset with ability to translate data into business decisionsComfort operating in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments with emerging products and business models.U.S. Applicants OnlyThe estimated salary range for this position is $153,700.00 to $ 246,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
