Who we are looking forThe State Street’s Alpha Data Team is seeking an experienced and versatile Data Operations Process Manager with business solutions and data analysis expertise to help us build and sustain our client’s data capabilities and competitive advantage using the Alpha services and product offerings. The successful candidate will have knowledge of tools and techniques used for efficient data management, outstanding collaboration expertise as well as communication and technical skills that enable process optimization and automation. Join us if making your mark in the financial services industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.This is a hybrid (SME/People manager) role and we are looking for a person responsible for both operational and team leadership duties.Your new roleAs Alpha Data Operations Process Manager you will:Support data operations; make sure the data is delivered to clients on time, accurate and within scope.Become process/platform SME; conduct root cause analysis of data issues and act as the point of contact to address questions, queries and requestsPeople Leadership & Team DevelopmentBuild engagement within the teamIndependently perform work within guidelines and according to specific proceduresSupport internal and client testing activities prior to “go live” date and immediate post-production transition, oversee and improve live processesAs part of the wider team, add an input on overall Alpha Data product enhancements and requirementsDriving creation, testing of new Data Quality Controls using SQL & financial instruments knowledgeProcess workflow analysis leading to implement changes affecting different team across organizationCollaborate with Alpha Data Implementation, Service Management and IT teams to share best practices, raise issues, develop consistent global processesWhat we value These skills will help you succeed in this role:Fund Services knowledge, experience in Middle Office Operations, Transaction Management, Corporate Actions, Derivatives, Performance & Analytics, etc. will be an advantageStrong analytical and interpersonal skillsAttention to details, problem solving, and decision makingSQL knowledge, hands-on experience with database/data warehouseExcellent leadership, balance of technical/business knowledgeCritical thinking, problem solving, and decision makingTeam management experienceEducation & Preferred Qualifications:University degree in Data Management, Finance, Business or equivalentTypically 5+ years of industry experience across Financial Services, IT or Data fieldsExtensive knowledge of Bloomberg and/or other market data vendorsExtensive knowledge of financial instruments from static data perspectiveStrong technical skills, e.g. SQL, knowledge of database design, multiple systems flowStrong team ethics and team playerSalesforce application experience – nice to haveGood communication and English language skills (both written and verbal)Work requirements:The position requires office presence at least 3 days per weekThe position requires office presence at least 3 days per weekMinimum Salary:zł132,000 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
