Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.Responsibility:Proactively promote safety priorities and standardsMaintain vigilance and bring up workplace safety concernsProactively supervise the performance of equipment and address any issues in a timely mannerDirect shift equipment team in the execution of preventive and corrective maintenanceDemonstrate a solid grasp of all Fab Support duties and able to assist in developing the technical skills of your team. Focus on Pumps, Chiller and Abatement systems.Perform administrative and supervisory duties for shift techs: attendance, staffing, and reviewsServe as the main point of contact between the FAB personnel and the Fab Support group regarding Production issuesAccept responsibility for all equipment, process, and personnel issues during shiftEnsure coverage as needed to maintain shift needsCoordinate shift contribution to TPM activitiesFoster an environment for other Fab10 employees to resolve problems, give feedback and express concernAssist with equipment installs, tests and commissioningRequirements:A relevant Diploma in any Engineering courses OR equivalent working experienceStrong mechanical competence with the ability to understand and repair mechanical systemsVacuum system knowledge and troubleshooting abilityAbility to use schematic diagrams to solve systems to components levelIntermediate PC skills including a familiarity with MS Office SuiteProblem-solving abilities and the capacity to effectively prioritize tasksTime management, organization, and prioritization skillsFollows procedures and work with minimal supervisionAble to perform 12-hour work shiftGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbout Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
