JOB PURPOSEThis role exists to drive procurement strategy and operational excellence across the European Logistics Procurement landscape, enabling competitive sourcing, sustainable practices, and high-performing supplier partnerships within complex transport networks. We invite you to be part of something bigger.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage and develop strategic supplier relationships, including negotiations, performance management, and allocation decisions across multiple logistics providersLead or support supplier contracting processes, ensuring robust contract management and compliance across assigned logistics portfoliosContribute to the European competitive buying agenda, including annual tenders and mini-tenders for palletized and bulk transportationDrive implementation of procurement strategies aligned with business goals, delivering value, cost efficiency, and resilienceSupport sustainability initiatives within logistics, including alternative fuel adoption and energy efficiency improvementsProvide data-driven insights by analyzing trends, performance metrics, and market dynamics to inform procurement decisionsEnsure adherence to procurement compliance standards and support digital transformation initiatives within the functionCollaborate within cross-functional and international teams to deliver projects and strategic initiativesAct as a subject matter expert in logistics procurement, supporting knowledge sharing and capability development across the organizationLead or contribute to cross-regional projects as assigned, ensuring timely and high-quality executionREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Bachelor’s degreeAt least 3 years of experience in Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain within FMCG or a complex, multinational environmentProven experience in supplier negotiations, sourcing, and procurement strategy implementationStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insightsFluency in English (spoken and written)Proficiency in MS Office, especially ExcelPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience working in matrix organizations and cross-functional, international teamsKnowledge of sustainable sourcing practices and logistics market dynamicsFinancial acumen, including understanding of cost structures and inflation impacts in procurementADDITIONAL INFORMATIONTemporary contractHybrid work and flexibilityOpportunities for the development and improvement of qualificationsSharing the cost of professional training & coursesBenefits: life insurance, private medical care, pension fund, sharing the cost of sports activities, Benefits System – Cafeteria and many othersExtra days off to take care of yourself and othersUnilever store - Our products at attractive pricesUnilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
