Become a part of our caring community This role is responsible for end-to-end process governance, operational oversight, and execution alignment across assigned deliverables. This role ensures processes are clearly defined, documented, standardized, and consistently executed while maintaining visibility into milestones, dependencies, risks, and overall readiness.Acting as a central process orchestrator, this role partners across cross-functional teams to drive alignment, execution flow, operational discipline, and process consistency. The Process Optimization Lead proactively identifies process gaps, inefficiencies, and operational risks, translating insights into actionable improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.This role operates at a process governance and oversight level, ensuring processes are scalable, efficient, and aligned to enterprise objectives while partnering with accountable teams responsible for downstream execution.Process Governance & End-to-End OversightProvide end-to-end process governance and operational oversight across assigned deliverables, ensuring alignment from intake through execution and downstream readinessEstablish and maintain process governance frameworks, including ownership structures, escalation paths, decision rights, and RACI modelsEnsure process standardization, consistency, and adherence across cross-functional teams while identifying and reducing unnecessary variationServe as the central point of visibility into process health, readiness, risks, dependencies, and execution statusMaintain operational oversight of process controls, governance checkpoints, and execution expectations across the process lifecycle Process Design, Documentation & StandardizationLead development and maintenance of process documentation, including SOPs, process maps, swim lanes, playbooks, and governance artifactsUtilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools (SIPOC, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, DMAIC) to design, refine, and optimize processesEnsure processes remain audit-ready, compliant, and aligned with regulatory, operational, and business requirementsDrive adoption of standardized processes and operational best practices across teams Cross-Functional Alignment & Execution ManagementPartner with cross-functional teams to align on timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and execution sequencingFacilitate structured working sessions to resolve ambiguities, clarify responsibilities, and support decision-makingCoordinate process handoffs and interdependencies to ensure seamless execution flow and operational readinessServe as a liaison across business, operational, and technical stakeholders to drive alignment and accountability Project & Program ManagementManage integrated project plans, governance milestones, critical paths, and interdependencies across initiativesMonitor progress against key milestones and proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate risks, issues, and blockersDrive operational status reporting, executive updates, and stakeholder communications with clarity and precisionEstablish governance cadences, tracking mechanisms, and reporting structures to maintain visibility into program health and readiness Continuous Improvement & Operational ExcellenceIdentify process gaps, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and operational risks through data analysis and stakeholder feedbackLead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action planning (CAPA)Translate findings into actionable process improvement opportunities using Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologiesPartner with execution teams to transition, operationalize, and sustain approved process improvements Risk Management & ReadinessProactively assess and manage operational risks, process vulnerabilities, and downstream impactsDefine and monitor readiness checkpoints across all phases of the process lifecycleMaintain visibility into capacity constraints, operational impacts, and delivery risksSupport contingency planning and readiness mitigation strategies Performance Monitoring & ReportingDefine, monitor, and report on KPIs, SLAs, process metrics, and operational performance indicatorsDevelop dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into process performance and readinessConduct trend analysis to identify optimization opportunities and emerging risksPresent insights, recommendations, and operational updates to leadership in a concise and actionable manner Change Management & AdoptionSupport change management and process adoption strategies for new or updated processesDevelop communications, training materials, and supporting documentation to reinforce process compliance and operational consistencyPromote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational disciplineUse your skills to make an impact Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field4+ years of experience in process management, operations, program management, or project managementDemonstrated experience with end-to-end process governance and cross-functional coordinationStrong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid models)Experience leading process improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologiesProven ability to manage complex workflows, dependencies, competing priorities, and operational risksAdvanced experience with process mapping, workflow design, and process documentation toolsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis capabilitiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authorityPreferred QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Operations Management, Project or Program Management, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or related disciplinePrior experience strategizing on how processes should be restructured Lean Six
