The Accounting Clerk role is a key support role on the finance team, assisting with various financial tasks to ensure the smooth operation of CCV’s financial processes.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Filing and Documentation:Organize and maintain physical and digital financial recordsRecording transactions:Weekly/Monthly retail center transactionsInventory review and entryInteroffice Invoicing entriesSupport Revenue AccountantsSorting mailBatching checks for entryProcessing refunds in various merchant accountsReview/maintain donor recordsCommunication with internal and external customersCampus Teams – work with to streamline processes, ensure information is timely and accurateQualifications
Key Competencies
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Good organizational skills Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
Advanced excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookupsStrong understanding of accounting principlesExperience in Ministry is preferred but not required.
Character & Chemistry
A passion for reaching the lost Personal integrity in all areas of life Must be, or willing to become a participating member of CCV Consistently attends worship services with their family Is an active participant in a neighborhood group, and is a consistent tither.
