Job Description:Note: Fidelity is not providing immigration sponsorship for this positionThe RoleAre you a recent college graduate who enjoys problem solving, working with numbers, and learning how financial systems impact real people? If you’re comfortable with Microsoft Excel and have strong math skills, this role could be a great first step in your career.In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of various types of financial calculations to support our Defined Benefit clients. A Defined Benefit (DB) plan, also known as a pension plan, is a retirement plan where an employer promises to pay their employees a set amount after retirement. You’ll receive structured training on pension concepts, systems, and calculations, with support from experienced team members as you build confidence in the role.Responsibilities include:Processing various types of calculations, meeting timeliness and accuracy standards while interpreting DB plan rules to ensure compliance with the plan document.Supporting internal Client Service teams while developing subject matter expertise on assigned clientsManually calculate and review pension benefits for plan participantsSupporting monthly testing of various systems upgrades and releasesParticipate in special departmental projectsDocument updates to User Procedure DocumentationThe Expertise and Skills You BringBachelor’s Degree - Mathematics, Finance, Business, and Accounting majors are preferred but all are welcome to applyStrong analytical and intuitive skillsMotivation and commitment to excellence; positive demeanor and 'can do' work ethicAbility to work as a standout colleague while meeting individual timeliness, accuracy goals and quality standardsAbility to adapt to a constantly evolving environmentStrong interpersonal skills and attention to detailHigh integrity and discretion to ensure the confidentiality of private client and participant dataStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to coach and instruct othersStrong PC Software skills (i.e. Excel, Outlook, and Word)The TeamFidelity has achieved the top position as the largest Defined Benefit (DB) recordkeeper in the US, as measured by total participants under administration.
