If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now!What you’ll do Cross-cutting Integration Manager is expected to lead cross-functional teams/members responsible for Diagnostics, OTA (Over-the-Air updates), Vehicle Cybersecurity integration, testing, and release across EV platforms. This role owns end-to-end system integration, validation, and production readiness for vehicle software in these domains. You will lead teams building and validating diagnostic systems, OTA pipelines, secure software delivery, and CI/CD infrastructure, ensuring all components work cohesively across ECUs and vehicle networks. Candidate is accountable for technical strategy, execution, and sign-off readiness, while driving scalable engineering practices in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. They are responsible for ensuring that vehicle software is secure, updateable, diagnosable, and production ready. Your leadership directly impacts vehicle launch success, software reliability, cybersecurity posture, and long-term fleet performance.  Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: Own cross cutting domains of diagnostics, OTA and security readiness per vehicle software maturity, performance and release gates to approve vehicle integration builds (per program milestones).  Lead multiple engineering teams across diagnostics integration & validation, OTA integration, testing & vehicle deployment, vehicle cybersecurity (secure boot, flashing, communication)  Ensure seamless integration across ECU diagnostics (UDS, DoIP), OTA update systems (multi-ECU orchestration, rollback, recovery), security layers (authentication, encryption, secure boot)  Own validation strategy across SIL / HIL / vehicle-level testing   Ensure comprehensive coverage for OTA update workflows and failure handling, diagnostic functionality and fault management, security validation (penetration scenarios, secure update flows)   Establish and enforce release quality gates and sign-off criteria  Oversee vehicle-side OTA integration and testing update orchestration across ECUs, failure recovery and no-brick guarantees   Align with backend/cloud OTA teams for end-to-end delivery  Lead implementation of vehicle security features secure boot, secure diagnostics and flashing, encryption and authentication protocols   Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 21434  Own software release readiness across diagnostics, OTA, and security domains   Ensure alignment with vehicle integration milestones, manufacturing (EOL diagnostics, flashing) and service and field support  Partner with embedded software and ECU, EE architecture and network integration, cloud/backend OTA, vehicle integration, validation, and manufacturing teams  Own system-level regression test planning, drive root cause analysis of cross-domain issues and help support integration war-room activities during DV/PV builds.  Release and validate functional KPIs such as defect leakage rate, integration maturity index, build stability metrics, bus load margins, SW flash success rate etc.  Validate wake-up/sleep strategies across ECUs, ensure no unintended current draw or parasitic drain and correct power state transitions during vehicle power cycles, start/stop/sleep, OTA updates/events  Leadership Competencies  Strong system-level thinking, technical arbitration capability  Structured problem solving   Program milestone ownership, ability to operate in high-pressure launch environments  Build and mentor new engineers & teams from ground-up  Location & Travel Expectations:  This role may be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC.  This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.  Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
