Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond?What You Will DoWe have an opportunity for a Final Inspection (FX) Team Member to be based in Columbus, GA. (onsite role) This is a 1st week shift (Monday- Thursday 6:00a-4:30p)Expected to perform a wide variety of complex inspection procedures and related paperwork, develop expertise to resolving inspection process problems, set-up and operate equipment, perform periodic preventive maintenance, and maintain all required certifications. Training and/or education in Quality processes or its equivalent, including on the job training in visual, dimensional inspections, receiving, and final inspections. Responsible for signing off product inspected. Must perform daily walk around of equipment, maintain cleanliness of inspection area and be capable of troubleshooting equipment issues. Must be able to obtain Final Inspection Certification within designated timeframe as required by Pratt & Whitney qualifications. Daily information gathering on parts in Quality cells and helping set expectations based on incoming WIP Communicate with other departments and assist in closure of issues which prevent nonconforming material from disposition and prevent material from final inspection Identifying nonconformities in process and product, explaining those nonconformities, and writing detailed descriptions of them for Engineering evaluation Qualifications You Must Have HS Diploma or GEDU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.Qualifications We Prefer1 year of manufacturing experience in quality and/or inspectionWhat We OfferMedical, dental, vision and life insurance Short-term disability, long-term disability and parental leave 401(k) match Flexible spending accounts Employee assistance program Employee Scholar Program (No waiting period!) Paid time off including: 3 weeks of vacation, 5 personal sick days, 3 unpaid days for unique situations at supervisor discretion, and 12 paid government holidays throughout the year inclusive of holiday shutdown for the week between Christmas and New Year.Additional Information:Must be a U.S. Citizen.
