Job description

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESWorking closely with the Director, Policy and Public Affairs Spain, key responsibilities include:Support the monitoring of healthcare policy developments and help keep relevant internal stakeholders informed of key changes and potential business implications.Contribute to the identification of policy-related risks and opportunities and support the development of mitigation or advocacy actionsSupport the development and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders as part of environment-shaping and outreach activitiesContribute to Pfizer’s participation in relevant trade and business associations in Spain, ensuring alignment with agreed company positions and advocacy prioritiesSupport internal alignment by working cross-functionally with teams such as Marketing, Medical, Health & Value and Regulatory Affairs in a matrix environmentPrepare policy briefings, talking points, summaries, and updates for internal stakeholders, translating policy developments into clear business-relevant insightsSupport the preparation of materials for meetings with external stakeholders, trade associations and internal governance forums.Support internal projects and initiatives linked to policy, reputation or environment shaping activities, ensuring timely deliveryQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree requiredMaster’s degree preferred2–4 years’ experience in public affairs, policy, government relations or related areas, preferably within the pharmaceutical/biotech or healthcare sectorBasic experience or exposure to external stakeholder engagement (e.g. public institutions, trade associations) desirableStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with interest in public policy and its business impactGood national and international political awareness and understanding of the healthcare policy environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teamsProactive, well-organised and eager to learnFluent in written and spoken English#LI-PFEPurpose Breakthroughs that change patients' lives...
