You will work closely with executive and engineering leadership to deliver data-driven insights, enable resource allocation decisions, and drive financial rigor in a complex, fast-evolving environment. In this role, you will have direct impact on technology and innovation investments, high visibility with senior leadership, and the opportunity to develop financial strategy for R&D at scale while leading and developing a high-performing team. This position plays a key role in business planning, prioritization, and performance management across R&D, while driving financial rigor and operational efficiency. Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with engineering and business leadership to support technology and investment decisions through financial analysisProvide financial insight on product development, roadmaps, and innovation initiativesIdentify and communicate risks and opportunities impacting financial and operational performanceOwn performance management and financial outlook across R&D portfolios, including expense, capital, and headcountLead development of financial models, metrics, and dashboards to enable decision-makingDeliver clear executive-level insights on R&D investments and performance trendsLead annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processesOversee project cost allocation models of engineering expendituresBuild strong cross-functional partnerships across Finance, Engineering, and business teamsLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance teamDrive operational improvements and automation to increase efficiency and impactMinimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field plus 8+ years of relevant finance or business experience5+ years of leadership experienceStrong experience in financial analysis, business partnering, and strategic planningAbility to translate complex data into clear, actionable insightsStrong communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organizationProven leadership experience with a track record of developing teamsHigh business acumen, problem-solving capability, and intellectual curiosityPreferred Qualifications MBA degree preferredExperience of familiarity with technology, engineering, or semiconductor industry preferredExperience supporting R&D, engineering, or product organizations preferredAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
