Senior Finance Project/Program Manager

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.Responsibilities and Tasks:Manage and support strategic and transformation programs/projects that impact FinanceWork closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned workstream leads to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan and timing for new initiativesDemonstrate high-level of management and leadership skillsEngage in definition of project scope and objectives collaboratively with relevant stakeholders and drive alignment in program deliverables/timelineDrive program execution with cross-functional groups ensuring timelines are metDisplays conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to deliver quality results within set timeframeProactively identify issues and risks that may impact the on-time delivery of tasks and deliverablesProvide recommendations to address issues, risks, and other challengesRegularly communicate with finance leadership on project status, at times escalating for key decisions/supportParticipate in proactive resource planning and change managementCoordinate user acceptance testing, and trainings as neededPromote continual learning and drive a continuous process improvement mindset  Key Skills and Capabilities:Proven experience in Program/Project ManagementDemonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple projects and drive successful outcomesDemonstrate understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologiesExperience implementing large organizational changes utilizing change management methods and toolsProficient Business and Financial acumenStrong analytical, problem solving and organizational skillsExcellent oral and written communication – ability to deliver clear and concise messageAbility to collaborate with business partners and influence key decisionsProactive with strong personal initiative and a sense of urgency to drive resultsExperience with process excellence, process re-design and initiativesProject software proficiency, SharePoint, MS Project, MS OfficeRequirements:7+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting; high tech industry preferred5+ years of Project and or Program Management experienceBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field of studyProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification (desired)Change Management Certification a plusSix Sigma Certification a plusAbout Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
