We were meant to fly.As test engineer you will be responsible of execute the operating activities relevant to modules or components test. You will be the focal point of the assigned test from the definition phase of the test through the whole process to data post-processing and reporting. You will coordinate the involved experimental testing team and will interface with the Customer of the test. You will be responsible to meet the Customer’s targets (quality, schedule and costs)Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities The test engineer will have to work with the CTHs and the rest of the team in the following activities:Concurrence and review of the test requestDefinition of test architecture, quotation and planning of the testImplementation of the test architecture and commissioning verifying the satisfaction of the requirementsExecute test and validate dataGuarantee execution of test activities meeting the targets in terms of safety, quality, schedule and costsCollaborate with the team that will operate in the test cell ensuring all activities are in accordance with targets agreed upon and configuration standards required.Perform the activities following the rationalization and standardization of test methods with the aim of improving efficiency and effectivenessApply Flight Deck principles and methodologies to manage the activitiesQualifications/RequirementsMaster's degree in Aeronautical EngineeringWorking experience in testing of engine controls and fuel systemsKnowledge in one or more of the following disciplines: lubrication/pneumatic, fluid dynamics, controls, electrical systems, data acquisition systems, metrology and calibration process and general plant servicesKnowledge of mechanical drawingsAvailability for three shifts workTeam working skillsFluent Italian and EnglishWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skillsKnowledge of mechanical components designSome background in high frequency data management and vibration analysisProject management skills to plan and monitor the activities in terms of schedule and costsWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes smart work in hybrid mode, and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
