As Assistant Manager, you will define and deliver the quality governance, ensuring compliance, and superior consumer experience across our Wellbeing Collective brands in all markets in which we compete. You’ll lead digital transformation, embed a culture of quality, and partner with cross-functional teams to enable innovation and growth.Role PurposeDefine & implement quality frameworks that enable innovation, expansion, and compliance in Wellbeing Collective (WBC) portfolio in relevant marketsKey ResponsibilitiesBe an active Quality member/ contributor in the quality activities and innovation projects as per the business growth aspirationsCollaborate with various cross-functional team members internally is the expansion projects, such that Quality in ensured at every stageCollaborate with the contract manufacturers externally (within Australia and overseas) for quality relates matters including Quality Control activities, food safety, compliance and drive to resolve them with logical conclusionCollaborate with the markets receiving products originated from Australia for quality related mattersSupport audit and assessment of new/ existing manufacturing and/ or packing site (including laboratories/ analytical capabilities) as per the product standards and Unilever mandatory requirementsSupport Cross functional team in various activities having overlap with quality viz. product specification, testing parameter and its testing frequencies, transit trials inputs and evaluation, risk assessment for relevant marketEnsure Quality Agreement, AQLs (Acceptable Quality Limits) between the selling and buying entity for the commercialized goods are kept updatedMaintain, establish and implement QMS/ SOP, to ensure mandatory minimum Quality processes are embedded in the systemAdvice the Quality Lead APAC on all actions related to quality which has an impact as appropriate to the business needsRepresent Quality function on appropriate forumsParticipate all relevant incidents management for relevant marketsExecute quality assurance program, CoA release, participation in project meetings, maintain relevant document, ensuring that all quality activities are carried out efficiently and effectivelyEnsure the timely and effective resolution of quality issues and deviations, working collaboratively with internal and external teams to implement corrective and preventive actionsExecute and Participate in the effective quality review and approval of batch records, release testing, and other quality-related documentationManaging quality-related activities related to manufacturing, including conducting audits of vendors and sites, providing support during quality inspectionsExecute the upkeep of quality systems and procedures, including SOPs, batch records, and quality metrics. Leading quality investigations and approving plans to address quality issues that impact products, as well as supervising corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) for deviations and investigationsWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEEDBachelors or Master’s degree in Quality Assurance, science, Food Technology, medical sciences, etc.; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required8+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance + Quality Control experience which includes product innovation, manufacturing operations, laboratory, and QMS experience in a complex environmentAble to demonstrate sound knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Business processes, Quality Management Systems, HACCP & Food SafetySho
