Accounting & Reporting2. Accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting through inhouse and third parties3. Carry out E2E month end close process including Trial Balance and Schedules review4. Month end journals governance and review5. Preparation of Local Statutory Financial Statements as per Ind AS along with Segment Results, Notes to Accounts and variance vs Prior Year6. Coordinate various audits like Statutory, CAD, IFC Audit, etc.7. Risk Management & Controls8. Ensure that the Global Financial Controls Framework is embedded & operating9. Review and compliance of Schedule of Authority10. Access Rights coordination – modification, addition and deletion11. Tax Compliance and Assurance12. Coordination with Unilever Tax team on direct/indirect tax compliances – reconciliation, advance tax, TP audit13. Support Tax team on queries on Direct/Indirect Tax14. Employee related activities15. Review of Actual salary vs. Notional salary16. Accruals for annual employee payouts like variable pay, share plans etc17. Performance Management18. Business Partner to India Centre Head and performance management of seat costs - review, budgeting, control, charge out, variance vs. forecastExperience and QualificationsQualified/Semi Qualified CAOther Key Skills1. Experience in managing month end process and Financials - P/L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow of a large/mid-size organization2. Hands on experience in SAP3. Understanding of risk and controls4. Strong Accounting & process knowledge5. Strong data accuracy skills and attention to detail6. Excellent in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook7. Good communication and inter-personal skills8. Team player who is a proactive self-starter and can work independently.9. Strong ethical standards on handling of confidential business information.10. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and teams located remotely.11. Ability to work under pressure to deliver the required output accurately and on time12.
