Job DescriptionUW Medical Center-Northwest - Urology, Pelvic Health, and Kidney Stone Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse.WORK SCHEDULEFull time / 40 hours per weekMonday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pmOur clinic is closed on nights, weekends, and holidaysDEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONOur Urology, Pelvic Health, and Kidney Stone Clinic provides comprehensive care for patients of all genders. Our services include specialized pelvic floor rehabilitation, surgical and nonsurgical urologic care, and minimally invasive ultrasonic treatments.POSITION HIGHLIGHTSJoin a dynamic ambulatory practiceTraining will be provided to experienced RNs who are new to the field of urologyPRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESProvides support during urodynamics testingPerforms outpatient urology clinic procedures such as foley catheter placements, suprapubic catheter exchanges, and bladder instillationsAdministers specialty medicationsEducates patients and their families on urologic symptom management, pre-operative teaching, and post-operative careAnswers patient calls and eCare messagesFollows up on medical records and test resultsAssists with coordination of care and continuity of care process as part of the healthcare teamREQUIREMENTS2 years of recent nursing work experience in a hospital or an outpatient clinicActive licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington StateBLSABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-NORTHWESTUW Medical Center is an acute care hospital located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
