Security and Monitoring SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Monitoring Specialist to join our team. As a Monitoring Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our data center infrastructure. This position requires expertise in monitoring systems, key stakeholder and customer engagement and ideally with a strong background in data centers, security or monitoring.With a supportive team and management structure the successful candidate will have the opportunity to flourish in the role, and provide crucial support to our data centers.ResponsibilitiesSystem Monitoring24x7x365 monitoring of IBX security and infrastructure alarmsDocumentation & ProcessingEnsures timely and accurate input of access information into access control systemProcesses inbound access requests from customers, carriers, and our sitesDispatches service requests, trouble and alarm ticketsTechnical ExpertiseBuilds familiarity with BMS systems, security access control systems, and basic data center infrastructureHas working knowledge of security best practicesSystems Support & MaintenanceProcesses inbound alerts from essential systems and network elementsProvides timely response to all access and CCTV related alarmsProcesses site maintenance and outage notificationsProblem SolvingAbility to identify and resolve, or report, a detected problemEscalates trouble cases and emergencies as needed to lead and/or management personnelTrainingReceives guidance and support from othersProject ManagementFollows instructions on departmental projectsQuality AssuranceAssists with basic QA and escalates trouble cases to lead and/or management as neededQualificationsExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to escalate issues when necessaryAbility to communicate effectively in English and Spanish to support global data center operations, including the LATAM regionFamiliarity with monitoring systems from data centers or relevant industriesAbility to commit to a 24/7/365 roster shared between the teamStrong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment, with the confidence to triage incidents using sound judgementThe targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: Poland - WA1 Warsaw : 76,000 - 122,000 PLN / Annual Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
