Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.Your Impact As an Account Executive, Small City, you’ll own the full sales cycle for law enforcement agencies with 16–40 sworn officers, managing a larger, more complex set of accounts while building trusted, long-term customer relationships.This is a quota-carrying role with significant commission upside, designed for sales professionals with proven closing experience who are ready to increase deal size, responsibility, and impact. Your work directly supports law enforcement agencies by helping them adopt Axon’s technology to protect officers, strengthen communities, and save lives. What You’ll Do Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)This role is based out of our Boston office with in-office collaboration Tuesday through Friday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.Reports to: Inside Sales Manager Own the entire sales cycle for a defined territory, from prospecting and discovery through close and expansion Manage a book of business focused on small city law enforcement agencies (16–40 sworn officers) Drive pipeline through a balanced mix of outbound prospecting and inbound opportunities Build relationships with key law enforcement stakeholders and decision-makers Deliver tailored product demonstrations via phone, web conferencing, and onsite visits Sell Axon’s full ecosystem of hardware, software, and service solutions Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, including renewals and upsells Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking in Salesforce Participate in ongoing training to deepen product, industry, and competitive expertise Travel to client sites, conferences, and roadshows as needed (up to 20%) What You Bring Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 2–3 years of full-cycle sales experience, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing Proven success in a quota-carrying, commission-driven role Experience managing multiple accounts and longer sales cycles Strong CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills Coachable, collaborative, and motivated by results Why Top Performers Choose Axon Mission-driven sales with purpose — our technology saves lives and strengthens communities One of the fastest-growing public safety technology companies in the U.S., with approximately 40% year-over-year sales growth Homegrown company founded in Scottsdale, with a new headquarters underway Uncapped commission with quarterly accelerators and premium spiffs tied to new product launches Historically, top performers earn well above their on-target earnings World-class equity and stock incentive programs Clear career paths into Field Sales, Sales Support, and Sales Leadership Collaborative, in-office culture designed to develop high performers and reward results Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards.
