Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. Position OverviewThe Division of Cardiovascular Medicine seeks a board-certified/ board-eligible Advanced Arrhythmia physician/physician-scientist with an extramurally funded clinical or translation research program to join an elite team of academic physicians at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank. The successful candidate will focus on routine and complex atrial arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation, and ventricular arrhythmia, including inpatient and outpatient consultative and primary services in a world-class facility at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. The Ohio State University Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is setting new standards for advanced heart and vascular care through our internationally and nationally recognized experts of more than 60 cardiology and vascular medicine specialists. We offer heart and vascular patients some of the most exciting and innovative technologies, treatments, and clinical trials, many of which are only available at Ohio State. These faculty will have earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), doctorate (PhD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field. Clinical faculty members are not eligible for tenure and are appointed for terms of three to five years. They may be reappointed to successive terms. Their principal career focus is the delivery of exemplary clinical care, and may include teaching, and/or research. ​Tenure-Track faculty (regardless of rank) - Persons with the titles of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor who are eligible for tenure or who have obtained tenure.
