This individual will assist in the development, design, and execution of studies evaluating large language models (LLMs) for multilingual mental health support, under the general direction of senior research personnel. Responsibilities include contributing to experiments and benchmark evaluations, collecting and processing data, and supporting the project through gathering, summarizing, and interpreting information on relevant literature, emerging trends, and best practices in AI safety, health communication, and cross-cultural research.Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:Familiarity with large language models and/or NLP conceptsExperience with qualitative or quantitative research methodsFamiliarity with benchmark dataset construction or annotation workflowsStrong written and verbal communication skillsCompensation:The starting rate for this job is $25 BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCESEmployment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.   CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICSPursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
