Become a part of our caring community The Community Engagement Liaison serves as a key connector between the organization and the communities it serves. This role is responsible for building strategic partnerships, supporting outreach initiatives, representing the organization in community settings, and utilizing data-driven strategies to improve member engagement and community impact. The position combines relationship management, public health knowledge and accurate reporting to advance health outcomes and organizational priorities.Position Responsibilities:Build and maintain relationships with community-based organizations, providers, schools, faith-based groups, coalitions, and local stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and improve member outcomesRepresent the organization at community events, health fairs, meetings, coalitions, conferences, and stakeholder forumsIdentify opportunities for collaboration that align with organizational priorities, health outcome goals, and population health strategiesServe as liaison between internal teams and external partners to address community needs and improve access to servicesDrive and support outreach strategies that increase awareness of member benefits, preventive services, and community resourcesApply knowledge of public health principles and social drivers of health to identify barriers impacting members and communitiesMonitor community trends, disparities, and emerging needs to inform outreach priorities and organizational strategyAccurately document outreach activities, events, referrals, and partnership engagement in QuickBase or other tracking systemsMaintain accurate data entry to ensure integrity of records and reportingRegular travel throughout assigned region for on-site visits, presentations, coalition meetings, member engagement, and community outreach activitiesMaintain working knowledge of covered benefits and program changesConduct presentations to community groups in accordance with current approved communications and marketing plans and state regulationsReside in the same region where they are assigned to workUse your skills to make an impact Required QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in community outreach, community engagement, public health/community health, healthcare, marketing, or partnership developmentMust reside in the state of OklahomaExperience building relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, or external partnersExperience with data entry, reporting systems, or database toolsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Public Health, Community Health, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related fieldExperience in managed care, Medicaid, healthcare, or nonprofit community settingsKnowledge of community health and social service agencies and additional community resourcesKnowledge of population health and social drivers of healthExperience creating reports, or analyzing community engagement dataBilingual skills preferred based on community needsAdditional InformationWAH Internet StatementTo ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.HireVue As part of our hiring process for this opportunity, we will be using an interviewing technology called HireVue to enhance our hiring and decision-making ability. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $58,700 - $70,400 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
