As a Facilities Maintenance Technician III, you’ll play a key role in sustaining a safe, reliable, and inclusive work environment.This role is fully onsite in Tempe.                  Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems in a cleanroom and production facilityWork within RODI SystemsTroubleshoot complex systems and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) teamsRespond to urgent building system alarms and prioritize work orders based on safety, production, and compliance needsMaintain and document equipment records using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Ensure all tasks comply with OSHA, Medtronic EHS standards, FDA regulations, and cGMP guidelinesSupport facilities projects including equipment upgrades, utility installs, and space reconfigurationsMentor and guide junior technicians as neededPromote a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplaceFirst shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, M-F) with flexibility to occasionally cover other shifts (2nd, 3rd and/or weekends) as needed.Must Haves2+ years of Facilities/HVAC experienceNice to HaveExperience with commercial or industrial HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, or electrical systemsKnowledge and experience working with RODI SystemsAbility to read blueprints, technical schematics, and operating manualsStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsExperience in a regulated manufacturing environment (semiconductor, medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, etc.)Working knowledge of building automation systems (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell)Familiarity with cleanroom protocols or ISO-classified environmentsEPA 608 Universal Certification or equivalentExcellent communication and teamwork skillsCommitment to inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learningFor Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. PR) locations (USD):$51,200.00 - $76,800.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
