Our ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity and demonstrates problem-solving leadership with limited oversight!The Role:The Warehouse Distribution Associate plays a critical role in supporting production operations at the GM Defense Production Facility by ensuring materials are accurately stored, staged, and delivered to the point of use. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory flow across DLOCs, kit cells, and ULOCs, supporting build schedules, and helping ensure materials are available to meet production requirements. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while partnering closely with production, material flow, and leadership teams to support daily operations.What You Will Do (Responsibilities):Organize and maintain material in DLOCsPick parts to kitsComprehend ship schedule and build requirementsMaintain PFEP (DLOC, coord ULOC)Maintain visuals (with MIN/MAX) in DLOC, kit cells, and linesideStock parts to ULOC for each buildReport MIN/MAX violations (alarms) to MFUCount parts in DLOC, kit cell, and ULOC and reportParticipate in floor safety reviewParticipate in quality reviewsAssist Dock operations as neededCompletes administrative tasks, and supports leadership team as neededYour Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) High School Diploma or GEDForklift CertificationMinimum of 2 years of experience driving Forklift trucks in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.Ability to work over-time, weekends, holidays, etc. as neededCandidate must either be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylee or refugee) or a non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required export control authorization.
