Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.The Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Department in Tucson, AZ is a multi-discipline organization responsible for designing, building and integrating state of the art testing environments (flight simulators for missiles), as the last step before flight test.  On our team, you will work with weapon system designers to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy the systems to help support tactical software development, testing, and delivery for missiles to the warfighter.This position is within the Effectors Center of the HWIL organization, and is an onsite role located in Tucson, AZWhat You Will Do               You will be a member of multidiscipline engineering teams performing design, development, and integration of missile flight simulation systems.Typical work involves the development of both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis.You will contribute to the completion of all stages of product development (CCA through systems level), and will be responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of their assigned projects.You will be expected to act, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products. Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.Professional electrical engineering design experience to include electronic design, troubleshooting, analysis, and test environments from the circuit card level up to a full system.Previous work experience with used electrical engineering design and analysis tools such as: Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic, Xilinx Vivado, or equivalentAdvanced experience with test equipment, such as: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters, etc.Advanced experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematicsThe ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
