Job Description SummaryWe are recruiting for a Senior HR Compliance Manager to work on a full time contract until 31st December 2026. This role could be based at either one of our sites in Cheltenham, Brockworth or Cardiff.In this role you will lead the development and implementation of documentation, tools and processes that keep the organisation fully aligned with government and regulatory standards, as well as internal governance, across all employment and fair employment practices. You will act as the key expert on HR compliance, ensuring policies, procedures and ways of working meet legal requirements and reflect best practice in a highly regulated environment.You will interpret both internal business needs and external regulatory changes, using your understanding of industry trends to anticipate risks and recommend improvements to HR processes, systems and services. By providing clear guidance and partnering with HR and business leaders, you will help shape compliant, fair and effective people practices that support business performance and protect the company’s licence to operate.Job DescriptionInvestigations and Case ManagementManage and support regional employee investigations, including case assignment and investigation reviewsConduct investigations that are complex in nature (e.g., multi-jurisdictional, senior leaders, potential regulatory exposure, or sensitive allegations)Partner with Legal, Employee Relations, and Security on investigatory strategy, privileged matters, and remediationDrive investigation standards and reporting of metrics to stakeholders including, time to close, case volume, and trendsSupport global cases as neededPolicy Management and TrainingDraft, update, and harmonize HR policies, handbooks, and SOPs in partnership with Legal and Labor/Employee RelationsDevelop and deliver training programs for HR, managers, and employees on critical topics (e.g., anti-discrimination, harassment prevention, wage and hour, working time, leave, immigration, data privacy)Contribute to global policy alignment and change adoption across regionsCompliance Strategy and GovernanceDrive a global-first HR compliance approach by standardizing policies, controls, and tools, and customizing locally to ensure compliance with country-specific laws and practicesMonitor evolving laws and regulations across the region and translate new regulations into actionable requirements, controls, and standard workChair or participate in regional compliance councils/working groupsLead and support global initiatives and standards deployment; collaborate across regions to harmonize processes and share best practicesSupport annual and ongoing HR compliance initiatives and projects as neededAdvisory and Regulatory ResponseProvide expert guidance on complex employee relations, regulatory issues, and HR compliance requirementsPartner with Legal on agency inquiries, complaints, and remediation plansSupport due diligence and integration for M&A or site transitions, including cross-border regulatory considerationsGlobal Projects and Cross-Regional SupportLead or support global HR compliance projects, tool deployments, and change initiativesProvide subject-matter support outside the assigned region as needed; coordinate with global and regional leaders to ensure consistent implementationShare best practices and lessons learned across regions to improve efficiency and effectivenessFlexible WorkingGE supports and encourages flexible working arrangements, where possible, and recognises the benefits to employees of having a positive work-life balance.Total RewardAt GE Aerospace we understand the importance of Total Reward.
