Job Description SummaryLead daily production operations for the assigned area, driving performance in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. This role is responsible for executing shop operations while advancing production priorities through FLIGHT DECK, lean principles, and continuous improvement. The Production Manager will build team capability, strengthen operating rigor, and help translate business goals into sustainable operational results.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesLead daily manufacturing operations for the assigned area to achieve targets in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.Drive the implementation and sustainment of FLIGHT DECK to strengthen daily management, standard work, problem solving, visual management, and operating discipline.Lead lean and transformation initiatives that improve flow, reduce waste, increase productivity, and improve overall production performance.Provide leadership to salaried and hourly teams, fostering accountability, engagement, and a culture of continuous improvement.Translate business and production priorities into operational execution, including resource alignment, staffing focus, and improvement actions.Use data, team input, and cross-functional collaboration to solve operational challenges and support performance improvement.Promote a strong customer mindset and ensure alignment between shop execution and broader business objectives.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited college or university.Minimum of 8 years of Manufacturing shop operations leadership experience.Advanced spoken and written English skills.Desired CharacteristicsPrior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience leading Flight Deck, lean manufacturing, or operational transformation initiatives.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to make data-driven decisions and lead cross-functional improvement efforts.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process control, and continuous improvement tools.Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, safety regulations, and quality/ISO procedures.Leadership AttributesHumble: respectful, agile, and eager to learn.Transparent: candid, constructive, and collaborative.Focused: prioritizes effectively and delivers results.Problem Solver: drives practical, sustainable improvements.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
